Mahesh Babu, the star of the film Guntur Kaaram, has confessed that smoking a beedi in the film gave him a migraine. Babu stated that he does not smoke and would not condone it. He was offered an ayurvedic beedi made of clove leaves, which he enjoyed because it was mint-flavored and did not include tobacco. S Radhakrishna produced the film, which is directed by Trivikram Srinivas. This is Babu's third collaboration with the actor.
